Eragon Unlockables VI (PS2)

The title can be classified as an action title which is played from a third person perspective and includes medieval and fantasy themes. The entire experience is based around the movie with the same name and the game was intended as a companion piece that could expand the universe of the franchise.
Eragon allows two characters to jump into the plot of the movie and fight their way through the world of Alagaesia. There's full support for cooperative gameplay, with a player able to drop in at any point during the levels in order to lend a helping hand. If he chooses to drop out then the Artificial Intelligence of the game takes over.
There are complex combo moves that any of the two characters can execute and team attacks that require specific on the part of both those engaged. Gamers can also use magical attacks to disrupt the hordes of enemies that they have to fight off. There are also some levels where dragons are used, with the player controlling the most powerful of them, Saphira.

The Xbox 360 version of Eragon comes packed with more levels and more enemy types than the other versions.
The game got limited traction with critics who thought the design was poor and that the production values did not do justice to the intellectual property on which the game is based.
